- Description of the technology(ies) involved:
Only mechanically scanned passive antennas in Ku-band are currently used in LRDE radars with single high power transmitter/receiver. This technology has the inherent limitations of like, slow beam steering, single point failure of transmitter/receiver, etc. The proposed Panel based active phased Array Technology overcomes the aforesaid limitations and provides cutting edge features like light weight, low volume and low cost. As a part of this development, a 16 x 32-element DVM to be realized.

- Ku Band panel array design with integrated TR channels and elements-level DBF circuits.
- Packaging & thermal management.
